Meet the Dentists
Dr. Kia Kiani established his practice eight years ago in the White Flint Mall and has over twenty years of experience in the dental profession. A graduate of the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, he prides himself on putting the patient first. His philosophy of dental practice is to work with patients who are fully informed and participate in the decision making process of their dental treatment.
Dr. Kiani has worked hard over the years to establish a practice that can provide comprehensive dental care with the availability of general dentists as well as specialists. He believes that his patients deserve to have one place where the many aspects of dentistry can be addressed. Dr. Kiani has extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry, including veneers, implants, Invisalign (clear braces), to name just a few. He strongly believes in keeping up with the advances in dentistry and is proud to incorporate these advances into his practice.
As a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Dr. Rogan C. Schneider is a firm believer that the art of dentistry goes beyond merely treating teeth. Dr. Schneider thoroughly cares for her patients and believes that breaking the barriers of communication is the key to successful dental care. She also believes that the patient should be an active part of planning future dental treatment and takes the time to explain the reasoning behind each proposed treatment. Dr. Schneider wishes to convey to her patients that addressing their concerns are her priority.
In order to keep abreast on the latest technology, Dr. Schneider has taken continuing education courses in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign (invisible braces), endodontics (root canals) and courses on the myriad of newest materials and advances in dentistry. These courses have given her the ability to be heavily involved in full-mouth rehabilitation cases for patients who need a “total mouth make-over.” The final, highly esthetic result for these cases may involve a combination of crowns, veneers and implants. Prior to joining Dr. Kiani’s practice, Dr. Schneider completed a residency program at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Washington, DC. She is also an active member of The Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ivory Hancock began her undergraduate education at Howard University where she majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She continued to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. She received post training at The Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York City and in her elective second year term, she was offered the position of Chief Resident. She continued her passion for the” science of beauty” at the prestigious Rosenthal Institute at New York University School of Dentistry, where she received advanced cosmetic & restorative dentistry training under the instruction of some of the pioneers in cosmetic dentistry.
During her tenure at Temple, and throughout her professional career, Dr. Hancock has volunteered widely, offering dental care to underprivileged children and special needs patients. Dr. Hancock continues to volunteer at Temple University as well, specifically with the Career Development Opportunity Program which assists minorities with their transition into dental school.
Dr. Hancock’s passion for the field of general and cosmetic dentistry has encouraged her to maintain several memberships and professional affiliations including; The American Dental Association, National Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Hancock enjoys traveling, shopping, reading and spending time with friends and family.
